The Rafah Foundation has officially commenced its Winter Relief Project 2025-26, beginning with the distribution of blankets to homeless individuals sleeping on streets and railway platforms across Dhaka. This humanitarian initiative marks the start of our annual winter support activities aimed at protecting the most vulnerable communities from the harsh seasonal cold.
In the early hours of the day, our volunteer team reached various locations in the capital-including footpaths, station areas, and other open spaces where distressed individuals take shelter at night. Warm blankets were provided directly to those most at risk, ensuring they received immediate protection from the dropping temperatures. The distribution was carried out smoothly, with heartfelt gratitude expressed by the beneficiaries.
The Rafah Foundation remains committed to standing beside the poor, the marginalized, and the displaced during the coldest months of the year. As temperatures continue to fall, the Foundation will expand its relief efforts to additional districts and underserved communities across Bangladesh.
