On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Adha, Rafah Foundation distributed Qurbani meat among underprivileged and impoverished individuals in the Melandah upazila of Jamalpur district.
The foundation’s volunteers went door to door across various areas of the upazila on Saturday and Sunday (June 7 and 8), delivering Qurbani meat to nearly 2,500 families.
“We want to bring smiles to the faces of the underprivileged. This humble effort is to spread the joy of Eid to everyone,” said a representative of Rafah Foundation.
Locals warmly welcomed the initiative and remarked, “While many are unable to receive any Qurbani meat, this support is a great blessing for us.”
It is worth mentioning that Rafah Foundation is a voluntary social welfare organization that operates humanitarian aid and development programs across the country.
