Rafah Foundation Distributes Qurbani Meat at Rohingya Camps in Ukhiya

On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Adha, Rafah Foundation distributed Qurbani meat among Rohingya refugees in the camps of Ukhiya to share the joy of Eid with them.

This year, the organization sacrificed a total of 61 cows. The meat from the sacrificed animals was distributed to around 2,500 families across various Rohingya camps in Ukhiya.

The Project Coordinator of Rafah Foundation said, “The Rohingya community has been enduring a prolonged humanitarian crisis. Our goal was to ensure they could at least enjoy one good meal on this special day of Eid.”

With the support of local residents and volunteers, the meat distribution was carried out in an orderly manner. The joy of Eid spread throughout the camps.

It is worth noting that Rafah Foundation has been conducting various humanitarian activities, including Qurbani meat distribution, in different parts of the country for several years. This initiative for the Rohingya community was a significant part of their broader humanitarian efforts this year.
