Delivering Warmth, Dignity & Hope
Winter brings comfort to many people, but for countless poor and vulnerable individuals, it is a season of severe hardship. People living in Northern Bangladesh and other underserved areas face extreme challenges, as the lack of adequate winter clothing puts their lives at risk. Each year, some individuals living below the poverty line lose their lives to the harshness of winter.
The situation in urban areas is no less critical. In the capital Dhaka alone, nearly 2 million people live in inhumane conditions on sidewalks, in slums, and informal settlements. Beyond Dhaka, millions of people across towns and rural areas throughout the country also endure harsh and difficult living conditions during winter. For all of them, winter is not only physically challenging it brings uncertainty, distress, and threatens their dignity.
In response to this pressing reality, the Rafah Foundation’s Winter Relief Project serves as a vital humanitarian initiative, dedicated to delivering warmth, dignity, and compassion to the most vulnerable. Through the generous support of our donors, we distribute winter clothing and blankets to underprivileged and truly needy communities across Bangladesh, helping them withstand the harsh conditions of the season.
At Rafah Foundation, we believe that helping others is not merely an act of charity—it is a sacred responsibility.
Join us in standing with those enduring the cold and spreading warmth, compassion, and the light of humanity.
