In rural Bangladesh, many families depend on livestock for their livelihood, nutrition, and income. Lack of proper care, veterinary support, and financial resources often puts these animals and their owners at risk, affecting food security and household stability.
Rafah Foundation’s Livestock Support Project aims to provide vulnerable families with healthy animals, veterinary care, and training, empowering them to sustain their livelihoods and improve their quality of life.
Support a family today — provide livestock, restore dignity, and empower livelihoods.
For vulnerable families in Bangladesh, a safe home or community structure can be the difference between insecurity and stability. Natural disasters, poverty, and inadequate housing often leave families exposed to risks, affecting their health, safety, and dignity.
Rafah Foundation’s Permanent Structures Project aims to provide durable shelters, schools, community centers, and sanitation facilities to underserved communities. By creating long-lasting structures, we ensure families have a safe and dignified place to live, learn, and grow.
Support a permanent structure today — give families safety, hope, and dignity.
For many vulnerable families in Bangladesh, having a safe and permanent home remains a distant dream. Natural disasters, poverty, and inadequate housing often leave families exposed to harsh weather and insecurity.
Rafah Foundation’s House Construction Project aims to provide durable homes to marginalized families, ensuring safety, stability, and dignity. Each house gives families a foundation to rebuild their lives, send children to school, and live with hope.
Support a family today — provide a safe home, restore hope, and empower lives.
Blindness due to cataracts is one of the leading causes of preventable vision loss among the elderly and vulnerable populations in Bangladesh. For many, the inability to see restricts independence, daily activities, and access to livelihood opportunities.
Rafah Foundation’s Cataract Operation Project aims to provide free cataract surgeries, pre- and post-operative care, and follow-up treatment to those in need. By restoring vision, we empower individuals to regain independence, participate in community life, and live with dignity.
Help restore sight and dignity today — your support can bring the gift of vision and hope to someone in need.

The Fish Restocking Program is a conservation and livelihood initiative led by our charity organization to replenish fish populations in Bangladesh’s rivers, canals, floodplains, and community ponds. By releasing high-quality fingerlings (young fish) into carefully selected water bodies, we aim to restore declining fish stocks, protect aquatic biodiversity, and enhance food and income security for local fishing communities.
Our Commitment
We are committed to:
• Promoting sustainable fisheries and biodiversity conservation
• Empowering marginalized fishing families with enhanced livelihood opportunities
• Collaborating with community groups, hatcheries, and local governments for lasting impact
• Ensuring transparency and measurable outcomes for every donation received
Program Goals
1. Stocking Fingerlings: Release fingerlings in 3 different districts initially, spreading it to more districts of Bangladesh (species: e.g., Rohu, Catla, Mrigal, Tilapia) annually into community-managed and natural water bodies.
2. Community Engagement: Build capacity of local fishery committees to co-manage, protect, and monitor stocked areas.
3. Eco-Protection: Support fish sanctuaries and no-fishing zones during breeding seasons to allow natural replenishment.
4. Livelihood Boost: Improve catch yields and income for small-scale fishers by 20–30% in targeted sites.
You can join us with your donation and help the rivers alive with fishes and natural resources.
Winter brings comfort to many people, but for countless poor and vulnerable individuals, it is a season of severe hardship. People living in Northern Bangladesh and other underserved areas face extreme challenges, as the lack of adequate winter clothing puts their lives at risk. Each year, some individuals living below the poverty line lose their lives to the harshness of winter.
The situation in urban areas is no less critical. In the capital Dhaka alone, nearly 2 million people live in inhumane conditions on sidewalks, in slums, and informal settlements. Beyond Dhaka, millions of people across towns and rural areas throughout the country also endure harsh and difficult living conditions during winter. For all of them, winter is not only physically challenging it brings uncertainty, distress, and threatens their dignity.
In response to this pressing reality, the Rafah Foundation’s Winter Relief Project serves as a vital humanitarian initiative, dedicated to delivering warmth, dignity, and compassion to the most vulnerable. Through the generous support of our donors, we distribute winter clothing and blankets to underprivileged and truly needy communities across Bangladesh, helping them withstand the harsh conditions of the season.
At Rafah Foundation, we believe that helping others is not merely an act of charity—it is a sacred responsibility.
Join us in standing with those enduring the cold and spreading warmth, compassion, and the light of humanity.
Delivering Nutrition, Dignity & Compassion
For many families, meat is a regular part of daily meals. However, for countless impoverished and vulnerable households across Bangladesh, meat often remains an unaffordable luxury. In many rural, marginalized, and low-income urban communities, families struggle even to secure basic meals—making the opportunity to taste fresh meat a rare moment of joy and dignity.
Recognizing this reality, the Rafah Foundation’s Meat Distribution Program is dedicated to bringing nutritious, fresh meat to the tables of underprivileged families. Through the entrusted Sadaqah of our generous donors, we regularly sacrifice goats, sheep, and cattle, ensuring that fresh meat reaches those who need it most. This initiative not only supports nutritional needs but also reinforces a sense of inclusion—reminding deprived families that they are valued members of society.
At Rafah Foundation, we believe that providing food to the needy is not just an act of generosity—it is a profound responsibility and trust.
Join us in spreading nourishment, dignity, and hope to families who deserve a better tomorrow.
