Who We Are

Rafah Foundation is a Bangladesh-based non-profit organization officially registered under the Society Act, 1860 Registration No. S-14312/2025 by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

Established in 2023 with a simple yet profound belief – Extending hands in the service of humanity, Rafah Foundation embodies the spirit of compassion, integrity, and youth-led action.

Led by a passionate team of young volunteers, most of whom are university students, Rafah Foundation stands as a symbol of youth-driven compassion and faith-inspired action. We are committed to serving the poor, the orphaned, the sick and the neglected – not as an act of charity alone, but as a sacred trust (Amanah) entrusted to us by Allah (SWT).

Our Mission

Our mission is to bring relief, dignity and hope to those struggling with poverty and hardship. Through transparent, accountable and sustainable humanitarian work, we aim to make compassion a practical force for change. Every project we undertake is driven by sincerity, integrity and the prophetic spirit of mercy – serving all people, regardless of background or belief.

Our Work

From immediate relief to long-term empowerment, Rafah Foundation serves across a broad range of humanitarian fields:

• Ramadan Food Package: Distributing food packs during Ramadan to the impoverished families, orphans and students.
• Qurbani and meat distribution Programs: During Qurbani and throughout the year, we sacrifice livestock and distribute the meat among the people in need.
• Emergency Relief: Providing life-saving aid to flood victims and disaster-affected regions.
• Water & Sanitation: Installing tube wells and safe drinking water sources in rural and neglected areas.
• Shelter & Infrastructure: Building homes, mosques and ablution facilities for those without secure shelter.
• Education & Maktab Project: Teaching children and youth to read the Qur’an and guiding them with moral and spiritual education.
• Health & Medical Care: Organizing free medical camps, cataract operations and healthcare support for underprivileged communities.
• Environment & Livelihood: Conducting tree plantation drives, livestock assistance and small-scale income projects.
• Orphan & Student Sponsorship: Supporting orphans and poor students with education, nutrition and mentorship.

Starting from Bangladesh, a land rich in faith and resilience but burdened by inequality, Rafah Foundation seeks to empower communities with dignity, opportunity and spiritual upliftment.

In the years ahead, we aspire to expand our impact through long-term development projects – such as seed banks, permanent education centers and sustainable livelihood programs – ultimately extending our help beyond borders to serve humanity wherever it is needed.
